Fuel pump problems

Well so that new ignition switch proceeded to mechanically break the next day. Apparently the new GM switches are all Chinese crap now. So went back to cleaning my original switch and got some power back. I wasn't out of the woods yet because then the pump was not running again. So it was back to square one. Was able to access the C412 connector by the pump fairly easily with the fender liner out. Ended up running power and ground straight from the battery to the pump and it ran just fine. I would get voltage to the C412 via the harness unplugged but once plugged in I got nothing. The grounds were still good and ended up just running a new power wire to the pump. Drove it around a little last night and today and seems good so far. Hopefully its finally fixed this time.
