Are you only getting Service ABS and Service Traction Control messages and not any Service Active Handling messages? If a wheel speed sensor is at fault you would get messages to service all three features. Pull the codes and look at what is happening. Don't assume the EBCM needs to be replaced find out whether it needs replacing or not by diagnosing the problem.
I just fixed mine today by re soldering 5 points inside of the EBCM. I had traction control and ABS light on always. Plus bunch of messages on the DIC.
The most common reason for both an ABS light and a Traction Control message is a faulty
wheel speed sensor-----Both the ABS system and the T/C system uses data from the wheel speed sensors ------The ABS uses these sensors to prevent the wheels from skidding on a hard stop AND the T/C uses these sensors to prevent the wheels from spinning on a hard launch

I know modern cars have very sophisticated electric systems. This is kinda off topic, but kinda isn't. I recently had these warnings flash on the dash of my 2014 CTS. All that was wrong was a fuel rail pressure sensor. But I got these warnings:
Adaptive Cruise inoperative
Reduced engine power
Service stabilitrak soon
Service vehicle soon
Service engine soon
Park assist unavailable
The mechanic called all codes but service engine soon invalid codes. So I agree with you this may be a wheel sensor. Good luck.

Yes these warnings and codes have nothing to do with with the ABS or TC systems--they will all make your engine go into reduced power mode-- You must have a competent tuner or data logger diagnose your exact codes---Seems like your codes are more about other issues than traction control or ABS issues-----These generic messages do not really tell you where to look--you need a competent tuner to pull up your actual DTC codes--and what to look at to correct
