Hello everyone, I have a 2001 corvette hatchback and recently my windshield wipers are acting up. When I try to turn on the windshield wipers they will not turn on. I checked the wiper fuse which was fine and I even installed a new wiper motor but that did not fix the problem either. I don’t know if is the wiper switch because everything else like the turn signals and even the windshield wiper fluid sprays. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the help in advance.
I would check the ground for the wiper motor, it’s at the base of driver side A pillar (G900). There’s a separate ground for the Wiper washer pump (G100). Both share the same power source from mini fuse #10 (Foot well fuse box)
You do have a multimeter? I would check each positions on the wiper switch and verify ohm values on the drawing.... I suspect a bad wiper switch...I would verify it’s bad before replacing.
