I need to replace the belt on my 2000 C5. I went to Checker, and they gave me a small, way too thin belt. I told the guy that wasn't even close to being right. Then I took him out to look at mine and we tried to get the numbers off of it, but no luck. Does anyone know the Dayco number of a 2000 C5 belt? Or, what the part number is of the belt that fits a 00. Thanks.
JCR, I see according to your profile that you have a 98. I need the numbers for a 00 plz. They are different, your GM number does not match mine. I don't know what the differences are, but the numbers don't match. Does anyone have a Year 2000 Car that can help me out? Thanks...
as far as i know the belts are the same for each year. However, i cannot explain the different GM part #'s. The a/c belt should be the same, as well. doesnt A/C come standard on the C5? you can practically pull your belt right there in the parts store parking lot then match it up. Take a ratchet w/15mm deep well with you. That's it.
