Default Buzzing sound...fuel pump? (video)

Hey all!

Backstory: I was on a drive from WA to CA. At a gas station, I "high centered" the car on a VERY uneven metal cover for one of the gas station's underground tanks. I hit the bottom of the car pretty good. Immediately afterward, I started to get a groan/buzz from the fuel pump area. I also noticed some hesitation on the remainder of my 1200 mile drive. Once in CA, I bought a cheapo "O'Reilly Auto Parts" house-brand fuel pump and threw it in. It helped, but the noise still comes and goes. Even more odd is that the noise often changes pitch when I press the brake pedal, making it seem voltage related?

Any help/info is appreciated! If it turns out to be the pump, I'm looking for the lowest cost high quality drop-in replacement...don't need to support more than 700whp (leaving me room for a blower in the future). What are my best options? It's an early '03, single pump on the driver side. Thanks again!

Brake master cylinder leaking vacuum, whistling/letting in unmetered air, creating lean mixture?

I'll check, but there aren't any other signs of a vac leak...and it sounds to be pretty clearly coming from under the rear of the car. You can hear it standing next to the car, too.

maybe when the car high centered one of the fuel tank skid plates was bend onto the body/frame/brake line transferring the fuel pump noise into the cabin

I'll check that too. I did think a bit on the vac leak suggestion and that might hold water after all. I'll check that out, too.

Just an update for future search purposes...

The loud whining noise was actually coming from the *fuel filter/FPR*, and not the fuel pump!!! I'm not sure how or why, but I was under the car while my wife primed the system several times. Zero noise from the pump; but the filter assembly made the loud whine, and you could actually see the back end of the filter swell/expand outward nearly 1mm when the noise was present. I'm guessing it was some sort of clog. Replaced the pump AND the filter/FPR just for good measure, and no more noises.
