I bought a fuel pressure gauge (Harbor Freight). Shows ZERO PSI with key in "ON" or when cranking.
I can hear the pump prime.
I thought maybe bad gas, but after checking pressure several times, when I remove the gauge the gas looks clean and does not smell bad like it did when Bill Curlee had me see if fuel would come out at the schrader on the rail.

Definitely getting spark.
Changed the filter, still no start or pressure.
When I bleed off the fuel in the rail and try to start is when it fires for a second then dies.
Did you look at the gauge while key on. Pump primes for for about 2 sec. If your getting out of the car to look at gauge on rails, might bleed down before you get there.

Do u hear the pump kick on?? you can jump the pump relay so it stays on all the time to c if it builds pressure. If it doesn't kick on most likely it is ue pump or bad connection at the pump.

Does the end of your HF fuel pressure gauge look this this ???...if you don’t have this little pin in the center of the hose it won’t unseat the schrader valve on the fuel rail and you won’t read any fuel pressure !!

Yes it does. I have to tighten it with pliers or it leaks at the schrader
