Non Run Flats
I'm looking to replace my six year old Michelin Run Flat Pilot Sports on my 2000 ragtop.
Since it's a summer only vehicle and I plan on carrying a small compressor and patch kit, I'd like to get away from the run flats for an improved ride and hopefully better grip.
My problem is that all of the tire sites I've gone to seem to only list run flats.
I would appreciate any recommendations y'all have.

I run Continental DWS06 in the stock 17 and 18 inch sizes, they are all season for those days when the temperature dips down to points where summer only tires can have issues. Tire Rack should give you a list of T least 19 different tire manufacturers/models, at least it did for me when I just did a search now.

I use non-runflats, Goodyear EAGLE F1 (ASYMMETRIC) 5 245/45 R17 99Y TL XL FP in front and Goodyear EAGLE F1 (ASYMMETRIC) 3 275/40 R18 103Y * TL XL F for rear in stock C5 coupe. So far I am happy with them, even in heavy rain. When I bought the car, it had some wrong size Starmaxx in front and Nankang AS1 in rear in right size, however they were the worst tires I ever had, straight out dangerous on just barely wet road and better not to talk about heavy rain... . Theres plenty of different non run flats for our car, to choose from, but as comments above said, search by tire size for best results.

I'm also in Michigan, in the Thumb. I also have a 2000 convertible. Tire rack/Discount Tire Direct have served me well. I have the F45 magnetic ride option, don't know if you do. BUT-Either way, your ride will vastly improve, as will your grip. I ditched the run flats 15 years ago. I went with re-pop 18x10.5 thin spokes from Bob@House of Wheels, and mounted 315/30/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 2s in the rear. I have a 12v mini compressor, and a Slime Tire plug kit in the storage compartment. Along with road service!! Good luck in your search......
