I have a 1999 c5 corvette 6sp convertible ms4 cam ram air intake manifold 92mm throtle body long tube headers full exhaust about a month ago my car started acting up it wouldn't start it would turn the engine then stop then turn the engine then stop so I replace the ignition switch and the starter and it crank up fine for about 2 weeks now is doing it again I've replace the ignition switch again but didn't make a difference this time and now I can't hear the fuel pump prime but I can hear it when I turn the key all the way to the rum position and hold it in have the replaced the theft deterrent relay fuel pump relay ignition switch relay checked all fuses still wont start the only way I can get it started and keep it running is to jump the red and purple wire on the theft deterrent relay and jumy the fuel pump relay any help would be really appreciated

When you turn the key to run position not start. Do you hear a tick by the pass footwell, and do you hear the fuel pump prime?

anti theft fuel deterrent ( take apart your center console inspect wires to fuel door orange and black if I recall ...2nd option there’s wires for the fuel injection pump positive and ground on the back driver side might be a pain to get at not sure since I relocated mine during the intake install...a improper ground and mis connection had cause my car not to engage fuel pump a few times sorting out where I wanted my relocate them ...If my memory serves me right they should be on a bracket mounted grounded if it’s stock ....black white /black I think
Yea I hear the relays click I'm pretty sure I figured it out right above the oil filter there is a ground wire on the block it was loose and corroded I just cleaned it and it fired right up it had it at the shop they were getting ready to tune it and it quit on them so I brought it back home messed with it for 2 days straight until late I started checking the ground wires thanks for all the input hopefully that's it and I can get it tuned now thanks a lot to all of yall
What size injectors and map sensors do U have
Might save u a few hundred bucks if ur running something and it’s advisable to street tune hahahahaha.......let her idle smooth it ...small grandpa and grand ma drive it no real throttle smooth it , idle that smooth it ,,,,start doing to light 1st gear 2nd gear smooth that and so on always returning back to idle to just watch what it’s doing and then 3rd & 4th 5th sprints ,then after that smoothing let it loose is 1-4th even 5th if u got room smooth that then start smoothing the rpm in gear as it’s toning down costing and u get that bop bop bop lol just saying goodluck

Regardless if he wanted help anything beyond a stock 1.5 bar I’m not a dutche bag and I help fellow vette owner....his car wouldn’t really start on a 2 bar file .....
