2000 C5 covertible
Driving home last night fuel gauge read half tank. Suddenly check gauges comes on and then low fuel. Put another $20 high test in this morning. When starting car gauge Flys over to full then drops to empty. Odometer reads miles 57, 053 for a minute then low fuel light comes on. Tank is close to being full now. Not sure if something needs to be recalibrate or what. Help please. Thank Ingrid

TECHRON!!! It may even take a few treatments to dissolve the Sulphur on the fuel level sensors. Try clearing the DTCs and see what DTCs reappear and post those DTCs.

I use Techron every other fill up and so far no major problem. But recently I had the jittery fuel level needle going from empty to fill after fill up. Doing some thought process, I decided to add my Techron when it was full, not just when it was empty realizing there are two tanks and one sensor in each tank. That seems to have cured the problem. My suggestions are to add the Techron when the fueling at near empty and also add one after fill up. and if you can, let the car sit for several days allowing the Techron to work its magic. Good luck resolving your issue.
