Default 2000 Thermostat Part Number

Good morning. Starting to buy parts for a head swap I will start after the holidays and looking for a 160 degree thermostat, I see they offer both just the stat and also the stat with the housing. I read on different threads here that they changed the stat housings on the later models so I am hoping someone with a 2000 can tell me which one is it I need so I dont have the car tore apart and find out I have the wrong one. I have done several searches on here and the only one that mentioned a part number for a 2000 was recommending this one

Thanks

2000 has the one piece housing and state. That wont work from jegs.
But ultimately wait tell u take it off. U will not finish this project in one day. And if u do. That's some great planning.

I have a a 2000 Vert that I bought a 160° Motorrad Stat for. When I went to an LS7, that Stat Is no longer needed. I'm out of state for a while, but if you still need one in the Spring, I'd be happy to sell you mine for $25.00. It's still in fine shape, maybe 25,000 miles on it. But I'm sure you'll come up with one before I get home!!!

Hoping you ordered the Motorad unit. Not saying that nobody else makes a good one, but I know I never had an issue with mine. My original 212° stat was a Motorad.....
