any F55 Shock experts out there - see attached pic - different numbers - which one is left ?
naturally I googled first but no luck ! F55 front shocks
Rock Auto only shows 1 part number for front shocks . That makes me think they are interchangeable, odd that you have different part numbers. They do show 2 different part numbers for left rear and right rear though.
My right front F55 shock was leaking a little. I bought a pair of (used) replacements from someone on the forum, thinking I could put off the day when I'd need to spend big bucks. Turned out one of the shocks he sent was far worse (wouldn't stay extended) than either of my shocks, so I just replaced the leaky one with the good shock he sent. The shocks had different numbers on them, but looked identical. After the replacement, all is well.
TLDR- Left and right seem to be interchangeable!
