Default Headers ?

Hi all,

Much of the stock photos for headers are either generic or outdated. I'm looking for the brands that currently DONT have the EGR flanges as I'm deleting my EGR system.

Anyone who can make confirmations would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Most of them come both ways. What brand are you looking for and how much do you want to spend?

I'm looking at both the texas speed Headers which I know don't have the EGR and the ARHs which I'm not sure if they have it or not. I like the ARHs because it has a NO slip fit installation.

I put the catless Texas Speed system on my car back in 08 and just replaced them with catless ARH 1 7/8 last week. The Texas Speed design has changed slightly but no matter what I tried, they always leaked at the slip joints and would spin at the rear joints causing the mufflers to drop. TheThe ARH design is superior in my opinion and the whole system went on and fit together very easily, tight, and clean.

I wasn't expecting them to, but the ARH did come with EGR provisions. I took them to a local welder and they cut them off and welded them shut for $50. I intended to follow up and see if I could have ordered them without provisions but never did.

One nice feature with the ARH is that they come with a bung installed for a wideband. As far as I know, the TSP system would require welding one on if you need it.

The ARH system came with exhaust manifold gaskets and bolts as well as all the necessary hardware and clamps. If you do intend to use the wideband bung and not the rear O2 bungs you will have to buy a bung plug. The wideband comes with a plug so you can use that and a purchased one to plug the rears. If you won't use the wideband or rears you'll have to purchase 2 plugs for the rears. They are cheap though.

I ordered mine for a great price from @Randy@RaginRacin on the forums. They took 2 weeks to get to me after order. Shoot him a PM for pricing.
