B&M shift plus
very new to the modern vettes but i'm not sure my 97 is that modern. got 48k original,it's my retirement car (i'm 72) and we just love it. my question has to do with the trans. i built and raced turbo 350's for about 15 years and this 4- l-60 is no 350. my 350's would shift swiftly and very fast and would not knock the crap out of you. i ran them in my low 10 sec. chevelle for about ten years off and on. this trans. shifts like my dads 72 pontiac catalina. anyway i had it serviced as in fluid and filter changed and my mechanic said that the pan was spotless. i had installed the B&M shift plus before the fluid change about a month ago. the shift plus has 3 settings,factory,firm and firmer. i have not used the firmer yet. have it set on firm and on occasion have gone back to factory. is this shift plus harmful to my computer controlled 4-l60? i have read where the trans pressure can be set from a tune which i will get spring of 2021.this is a bone stock ls1 which is used to cruse on good days and i will ring it out before i bring it home a couple times.
