Default C5 ball joint recommendations

Been searching for high quality upper and lower ball joint For the front and rear of my c5 overhaul. Seems to be many choices out there and lots of confusion on applications. Any help with parts you are all using and possibly part numbers would help greatly.

thanks ted

You need the MOOG ball joints K500134 and K6537 at the upper and lower numbers to order. They are the same for the front and back. about $400 from Amazon. Heavy Duty and can be greased.

I like Moog parts, too. However, fwiw, several years ago I needed a tie rod end. Seeing as 1 was bad with 90,000 miles, I figured the other wouldn't be far behind. So I got both of them new from Ecklers. They had a good price, are greasable, and no trouble at close to 30,000 miles on them. Can't remember what part#, price, or brand name, perhaps made for Ecklers by Moog, or?? You could also try Mid America Motorworks. I've never needed a ball joint-yet-but assume they have them, too. As previously posted, you can't go wrong with Moog. They make top quality stuff. Good luck to you.

I know this is an older thread, but I cant seem to find a listing anywhere on the internet where a rear lower ball joint is available. My service manual show R&R for that part but GM now calls it NS, non serviceable. I do know the front and rear uppers definitely are the same but I'm unsure of the lowers. Are we sure that the lowers are also interchangeable?
Thanks

All the upper and lower ball joints are the same for all four corners. Just replaced mine with the Moog ball joints listed above. The Moog lower ball joint, K6537, is hard to find in the HD greasable. It shares the same part number as the regular non-greasable ball joints.
I found them on Amazon I found them on Amazon
. The upper ball joints, K500134, can only be found in non-greaseable. It seems like they stopped making those a while ago.
I ordered the uppers from Amazon also I ordered the uppers from Amazon also
, even though it shows the HD greasable version, all 4 were the standard non-greasable kind.

Due to the prevelance of "Imposters". On Amazon

I recommend Summit Or local Napa Or others. The Real Moogs have a Gold Cad Dichromate Lower Dust cup and a Grey Oxide Shaft

The Imposters are silver. And have Very believable fake Boxes

Same holds true for Timken products

Lots of fakes there
