We're your resistors purchased OTC, or did they come in a "delete kit"?
Agree. OPs thread says F45. Resistors work on F45, and on the '03. The '04s, according to Lyle@C&S Corvettes, have no way of tuning out or using resistors to fool the BCM. Lyle told me the '04s can only be fixed by replacing the OEM shocks with OEM, $600-$700 (each!) shocks. If anyone knows different, please post up. C&S is usually spot on.....
On second thought, I believe Lyle did say the '03 requires the Tech II, not the resistors. The '04s, however, have no workaround I'm aware of, except buying new $700 shocks (each).
Never heard about the 04 problem with a tech 2 not working I do know it will work on the 03's
The way GM, and probably all manufacturers are today, they probably set up the BCM to ensure that there's no workaround; the owners of the '04s have to start buying some of those overstocked expensive shocks! Don't know the exact cost of the shocks, but a good guess would be at least $600 each×4=$2,400+tax!!!!
