duh.. what fuses are they and where are they located??
The C5 has 2 fuse box locations. One is seen easily, under the hood on the passenger side. The other is on the passenger side, but it's in the footwell, where the passengers place their feet. Didn’t your car come with an owners manual? The manual is usually kept in the glove box, but could be in one of the 3 trunk compartments. I suppose it could be in the console, under the hinged cover. Good luck....

Thanks. Yes I’m aware of the fuse box locations. What are the fuse numbers?
can the fuse be the only cause?
No, could be lots of things, brake switch, clutch switch, multi function switch, wiring issues to name a few

Thank you very much, now I can trouble shoot other ailments ( like my horn). Just really trying to get into this car. I have a couple of other things to work on, will need you guys advice.
I will also try to use “search” here more and not ware you guys out. ✊🏼🙏🏽
I've found that using Google instead of the forums search works much better. I start the search with c5 Corvette and then what I'm looking for. Corvette forum is almost always at the top of the answers
Did you pull the codes?? When my cruise went out, this is how mine reacated. when i pushed to set it stayed on for about a second. I pulled the codes and it brought up tac codes watch i forgot which ones. Nothing else was wrong with the car so i changed it and been working for years. It's weird but it worked. Just my experience.
I want to thank the forum for valuable answers to my questions. I indeed did all directed and learned a great deal concerning this vehicle.
I “pulled” codes for first time and discovered that I only had a few “H” codes from a window regulator repair I did. I then following the suggested procedure of adjusting the cruise control solenoid switch, worked like a charm. 👍
