Anybody used this? I don't have brakes on the car yet and need to torque ARP crank bolt to 230lbs on an iron block. Don't want to break that mounting piece for the starter off the block. I was going to do it without any worry but came across 1 post where I guy said be careful not to break the block. I already have the tool.

I used it twice in the last year. Once for harmonic balancer job, and once for clutch/flywheel job. It's difficult to mess it up, so my only advice would be to make sure that the bolts are threading in nicely, i.e. thread them all the way in by hand and make sure the tool is sitting evenly.
