Headlight noise
Just got my first vette ! After the left headlight retracts it sounds like the motor is still trying to pull the light down.
is there a sensor that has gone bad or what ?

Check the lift arm to make sure it's seated (she'll just spin if she's not all the way over the square part of the bracket, but yeah if you haven't been in there messing with it it's probably the gear.

Congrats on the car, and welcome to the forum. I agree that it's likely the gear. The problem will just get worse until the headlight no longer works. Luckily it's a reasonably cheap and easy fix for you at this point.
