Control arm bushings
I've got a new to me 2004 C5 Z06 with 29k miles on it that has some creaky control arms (at a minimum, possible the height adjuster bushing is also creaking). I took the upper rear passenger control arm off and noticed that the forward bushing (these are original rubber bushings from the looks of it) freely rotates, which I gather means it needs to be replaced.
I've ran around with a stethoscope checking each rear control arm bushing and it looks like the majority of them are creaking, so my question is, what would you replace those bushings with? Or would you replace the entire control arm? I'm not planning to track it, so I'd prefer whatever is the quietest, lowest maintenance, lowest NVH option that ideally doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks!
