Default Quick axle back-question

I have an old corsa pace car system with quad "round tips" on my car and it seems that most of the exhaust exits out the tips furthest from the muffler and the least amount exits from the tips next to the mufflers. This is visually apparent during a cold weather start up. The only explanation i can come up with is that judging by the route the exhaut gasses take, the tips furthest from the cans actually present the Least amount of resistance. Anyone else notice this? Is it normal?

I just put a Borla ATAK axle back on my 2000 and during the first cold start it had even gas flow coming out of all four pipes.

The routing on the atak system is a little different. Can someone who has the pace car or sport system put there hands near their tips and see what it feels like on the inboard vs outboard tip as far as pressure?
