The rebuild has started.
Well the engine is now apart and off to the machine shop. The new motor will be stock cubes although the 382 stroker was very tempting. :D . The crank will get polished, cylinders honed/deglazed,etc... The motor will sport billet rods and lunati pistons not sure which rings to go with yet. I decided the power adder of choice will be nitrous(once the warranty runs out). So we are shooting for 10:1 compression just in case I change my mind and decide to run a little boost. And, if I want to run a little more boost I can always change to FI 6.0 heads. Looks like I am leaning towards changing over to LS1 edit. It will be easier to tweak the car on the dyno at LGM as opposed to sending the ECM back and forth to OK. I'll let you guys know how everything turns out. :cheers:
