Help... beeping killing me
2001 base, manual, 140k miles. I just got her today... all went well on the test drive, no warning lights DIC messages, no beeps.
after I bought it on the 2 hour drive home I was getting a lot of beeps thru the speakers.. like warning beeps. The radio would stop playing during the beeps and then start again when beeps stopped While it was beeping I had no warning lights or messages.
it did it almost all way home. Didn’t matter what speed, moving or sitting still. It ran fine, no power lose or anything.
fuel tank was full, nothing in passenger seat... I have searched here and google with no clear ideas on cause.
anyone else have this issue? Thanks

well took it out a bit today after plugs and wires... found 2 wires cooked and almost burnt in half, looked like original wires.....
no beeping yet... only thing different today other than the tune is I didn’t have my FM transmitter plugged in the accessory port to Bluetooth my phone for music...
driving her to work tomorrow so we will see what happens... I will try to video if does it again...
