I'll go ahead and admit it from the beginning, I'm pretty dumb when it comes to anything mechanical. My 2004 base has a K & N air intake and filter system and I think that I'd like to go back to an original system. Is the air box all I need or are there other parts that need to be changed? Thanks in advance to anyone who might respond.

Sorry, I didn't have time to add any information other than the parts diagram. If I were in the same situation as you I would post in the Buy - Sale - Trade section that I was looking to trade the K&N you have for a complete stock intake, preferable for a Z06 intake as the air box design is a little different to allow a little better airflow in to the intake. They look the same but the air flow channels on the back of the box is a different design than the non-Z06. You might be able to get a little boot money with the swap.
You are missing several pieces to make a stock air box work. You will need the stock airbridge, the airbridge connection to the throttle body, and it appears the hose for the secondary air injection pump. You will also need the airbridge isolators (#17) that are missing from your setup but should have been there regardless of stock or aftermarket intakes.
