Intermittent wiper failure
Hello all I have a bit of an issue with my 99 FRC. I’ve looked at the forums and haven’t found my exact issue which is why I’m posting. While driving my wipers would randomly come out of park and just stay there. Sometimes the would shift up and down about an inch but never make a full sweep. The wiper switch is useless when this happens. The only way to get them back in park is shut the car off for a couple hours and turn it back on. But after about 10-15 minutes it starts acting up again. I’ve read about this he udders getting clogged but they are clear and it hasn’t rained in over a week anyway. Any help would be appreciated

Might be the wiper motor circuit board.
Check the drain udders around the wiper motor, if they clog up water can short out the board.
That was my issue.
Mine did the same thing, wipers would turn on whenever they pleased and wouldnt turn off with the switch,
had to turn the car off and restart.
Got lucky and found a new circuit board for cheap, replaced and been fine ever since.
