2004 No Start issue
Looking for guidance in trying to figure out my no start issue. First had problems with a low voltage warning. Things I replaces since then is battery, alternator, BCM and ignition switch. The ignition switch seemed to solve the problem of the erratic pulsing and the low voltage displays. But now we can’t start it. It’s dead at the key. Since then we also cleared all the codes and reprogrammed the security. Went thru the 10min reprogramming of the BCM so that the security light does not come on anymore. The only thing next is the ignition tumbler. We jumped started the starter relay and it turns over no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By starter relay you mean the TDR relay above the BCM in the passenger footwell area? Brief explanation of starter operation, voltage is sent out from Ignition switch thru the Park or clutch safety switch and then to the positive side of the TDR relay coil. The BCM receives the proper signal level from the Ignition switch contacts that press against the resistor pellet in the key. The BCM then provides a ground connection to the negative side of the TDR relay coil. The contacts of the TDR then send power to the starter solenoid. You have to verify that the TDR is being energized every time the key is turned to the start position. Hope this helps.
