Default AC issue - thoughts?

Hey C5 Family!
Now that the warmer weather is coming, I used my AC for the first time last weekend and noticed that:
-it runs ICE cold at lights/idle
-blows luke warm to slightly cool when driving at ANY speed
-returns to ice cold when I come to another light, etc

Thoughts here? It must have enough Freon, so I’m guessing some other vacuum type issue?

Thanks for your input!

I’ve noticed mine doing something similar recently as well. Usually only near the hottest part of the day. Didn’t notice it any previous summer.

It’ll start cold, then be barely cold when I get to the first stop light leaving work, then be cold again after driving for a few minutes. Revving it higher makes no difference it just decides to be cold again on its own after a while

Need gauges on the system. I suspect that the low side cutoff is getting triggered when rpms are raised. At idle the low side is probably right above the low pressure that would cause the cutoff (which is incidentally the pressure that can give the coldest vent temp). Probably needs more refrigerant but needs the leak identified first.
