I have a plug kit (no slime, used it once in another car and it was a mess to clean) and a small 12V compressor. These two items will get you to a repair facility unless the issue is a blow out. The secrete to a flat is leave the offending item in the tire and just stop every so often to replace the air. I learned the hard way.
Consumer Reports recently touted the AirMan ResQ Pro+ kit, which includes a 12-volt air compressor along with a replaceable can of liquid sealant which they advertise as washing off with water (as opposed to the mess that Slime makes). You'd probably need the 70 liter size which I think runs around $80. Disclaimer: I've not owned or used this product so I have no personal experience with it nor do I have any relationship with its manufacturer, just noting that CR recommends it as a possible alternative for you.
Just to clarify the plug kit I bought is sold by Slime, but it doesn't contain slime, it's just the file, insert tool for the rubberized cord and glue.
I use this plug kit, a pair of needle nose pliers, and this air pump. The air pump clips to the battery. I made sure the leads were long enough to reach each tire. I have only used the pump in trials, but seems to be okay.
