so for a while now the window would get stuck halfway and I would have to mess with it to get it down. It sounded like something was grinding the window so I didn’t think it was anything too serious. But today it went down and will now come back up. See the attached video. It sounds like it is going down but to come up it makes a noise for a while then just clicks
I don't see any video. However, it sounds like it could be your window regulator. That's a known failure point on the cars. You can try gently banging on the door to see if that helps. More than likely you'll need to replace the regulator though.

You can usually manually pull up on the window and then use something inside the door to prop it up or tape it to the car to hold it as a temporary won't-get-rain-inside fix.

the right side of the regulator won’t go up I ended up taking of off the rails. Do you have any recommendation on what to use to hold it up? The windows pretty heavy
(Not sure if there's a cross section of people who drive corvettes and listen to warren g...)
Yes, buy a new regulator and make sure there's nothing else in there interfering with the window that caused this one to fail.
Dorman regulators are cheap but I've had good luck with them. Supposedly they make improvements to whatever part of the OEM one fails. MSRP on a genuine part is $325. You can get the dorman for $55

i actually do know the song. Probably because I’m not a typical corvette owner lol
I just replaced my driver window regulator this weekend as well. Used an "Ultra Power" brand from Rockauto for $40 since it was the "favorited" option there. No adapters or modification needed, swapped right over and works like a charm. Picked up a passenger side to reaplce both, but I think I'll hold until it's actually needed so I don't break any more plastic door pins. 20 yr old plastic is risky business, even when you're careful and have the proper tools lol.

Nice price. I'll keep that in mind in case my drivers side goes bad. Keep up posted on how it is working out for you.
