Default PO 410 Code - help needed

My girlfriend owns a '00 cpe. The check engine light came on, so I read the code which reveled PO 410. Her car is out of warranty. Any tips on how I can eliminate this problem? Send tips to GTalley99_99@juno.com

I had the same code about 3 months ago. My positive battery terminal had cracked and acid had run down on a vacuum line eating a hole in it. Mine was under warranty so GM took care of repacing the air line, battery and cleaning all the acid that had accumulated in the area. I now look at the battery area everytime I wash the car to ensure no acid is leaking again and that I don't see any signs of corrosion. Good luck. BTW, the cracked battery terminal is common for the Corvette. :D
