Maybe a dumb question

Do all 2002 base model vettes come standard with daytime running lights? My front white lights outside the fog lamp opening next to the turn signal bulbs ( I don’t have fog lights ) light up when I unlock the doors but seem to do nothing else. I pulled up the wiring diagrams from Pro demand and it doesn’t so anything. I also don’t see a sensor in the dash vent. I looked up the possible option codes for my car and DRL’s aren’t shown. There are fuses and relays in the fuse boxes. I am totally confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yes, I’m ready for some ribbing, I probably deserve it.

Do they do anything, meaning should they not be on in the daylihgt? No, they are on all of the time. They don't do anything else.

I believe all models have DRLs, which are only on while driving, turn the car on and disengage the e-brake and they'll come on if the bulbs are good

I installed white LED bulbs instead of the yellow filament bulbs, and yes they should be on all the time the car is on.

Next to that bulb there's a small '194' style bulb on the outmost side of the lens unit - this is your sidemarker bulb.

you can pull the DRL fuses and still have turn signals.

Thanks. They only light up when I unlock the doors or turn them on with the multifunction. After I posted this, I found out that only the rear turn signals work but they don’t flash fast. Also the hazard lights don’t work at all and the front cornering lights don’t work either but I haven’t been able to get under it to check the 194 bulbs. I don’t know if that helps with the diagnosis or just clusters it all up!

Thanks! Does the car have to be running and in drive? I turn the key to on position and check them and they don’t light up. They do light up when I unlock the doors or torn the headlights on.
