C5 Tow Strap (front center)
Not sure if I’m coming or going.
Had to cut out a little of the foam.
Too short for my liking!
The Grade-8 bolthead inside the bumper.
My extender.
Further out.
Foam back in place.
I used the plate holder to keep the strap in place. If I can figure out how to keep it from falling back through, I can cover the whole thing with the original filler plate when not on track.

The slot I cut in my license plate area is just big enough for the strap to come in and out of....I used a 3/8" square by 1/8" thick neodymium magnet glued to the bottom area of the license plate area and the metal ring just sticks to it and never moves. On my car, when I pull it out it extends out to about 18". When I push the strap back into the "slot", the excess material just hides behind the license plate area.
The stock license plate cover fits over everything if you don't wan the strap to be seen.
On your Sparco strap, you can glue a tiny magnet to the material loop and another on the face of the license plate area and the strap will not move until you pull the loop to use it. Any of the Goop adhesives will work....Household Goop, Plumbers Goop, RV Goop, etc...they are all the same just marketed to different segments.
