My gearbox suddenly stopped shifting 1 and 2 starts on 3 gears, read online it read like this The 1-2 shift failure on the 4L60E is often due to a faulty throttle position sensor (TPS). Could it be possible, someone who has experience?

I did not see your post and had just started a thread today regarding my A-4 1-2 shift slipping. All the other shifts are fine...just that 1-2. For what it's worth I replaced the TPS with great hope and it did not resolve the issue at all. Good luck.

Understood that it would not work. I talked to a gearbox workshop yesterday, he said it needs to be renovated, did not really understand what the problem was, but just remove it and hand it in.
