And another dumb question, you don't have a front lip that blocks airflow to the air dam, do you? lol
Welp, if you're really oppose to spending $600 (which I don't blame you), you can always throw in a Trackspec center vent for a couple hundred bucks (or find any cheaper vent that will work). That'll help pull air out.
I honestly don't see why a stock radiator wouldn't do the job if the system is in good health otherwise.
I'm running out of cheaper ideas here.
Actually it DOES have a small lip now that you mention it. I suppose I could try removing it and see how it does. I actually quite like it though. I also already have the Trackspec hood vents installed.
Definitely remove that lip....wish we would have known that 21 posts ago...LOL. They look good, but they do indeed block the only airflow your radiator gets. I had one the blocked the entire air dam, but had the fans programmed to come on before 200, and never had an issue in 100 degree weather. I'd 100% remove that front lip and give it a run. A lot of people easily experience a 10-15 degree bump when adding a front lip. If anything, you ca just remove it for Summer and put it back on for the rest of the year. That's free

yeah, it hadn't really occurred to me. It's a very small lip, probably doesn't extend more than an inch below the bumper. I suppose I could see it disrupting the airflow though. As you said, it's free, and easy enough to try.
Well, you all were right. I removed the little lip, and temps were immediately and noticeably MUCH better. I was cruising around today in mid 80's weather, and it stayed between 185-190 at highway speeds. Similar temps all week commuting on the side streets in 90's weather.
