My ac compressor is locked up but when i turn on the ac or fan whichever should come on i cant feel any air coming from the ducts? It should still work in the heater position? What all could be the problem here? Is there a seperate fuse or something that would control the blower motor and not just the ac control unit?

I just bought the car two months ago when i got it home noticed the compressor was locked up the unit would turn on but wasnt too worried about the ac at the time. Just the few times ive powered it on doesnt blow air.

Maybe its your head unit not sending a signal or the blow is bad itself. i would check the motor to see if it gets 12v if so motor is no good.
The blower motor is good i unplugged it and supplied 12 volts powered on good. The purple wire is stuck at 13.8 volts and the black wire test open like its not grounding what could the culprit be here? For some reason its not grounding. I told ecklers i had a 1999 automatic car and sent a picture of my head unit they asked i know that but is your orignial control module manual or automatic?

Ok so the blower motor tests good and blows strong with power to it i got the control module out. The head unit plug to it was on loosely or slightly sagging but pushed up all the way made no difference and didnt power on the blower motor. Any ideas i take it the white thin wire is the signal wire?
Okay i tested the plug that goes to the blower motor control module the red and black stays at 12 volts with the car on and off. Now the white wire is a signal wire that should read volts but doesnt show anything on my 5-14 volt battery alternator tester.
I had the same problem, I dropped the blower motor and found this lovely mouse nest binding the motor, cleaned it out and reinstalled and now it’s blowing nicely
Okay the yellow vacuum tube is broken or looks maybe like a rat had eaten through it. What all does this line function and how hard is it to repair as its right on the edge.? When do the actuator doors kick on should they shift even if the blower motor doesnt kick on? At this point im just trying to get the heater to function as the actuator doors dont shift and blower motor doesnt turn on but the blower motor control module plug has 12 volts all the time and blower motor blows good with 12 volts supplied directly to it.

okay got the yellow vacuum line back in there snug and still dont hear the actuator doors kick on. May need to access the canister inside the fender to make sure everything is hooked up.
Ok i checked my hvac codes on the dic. Im just trying to get the heater to function with actuators before replacing the locked up compressor. It throws the outside ambient temp sensor code i believe but i did see it plugged in when i was replacing the lower radiator support with the bumper off. Its a small probe type of sensor into a plug. Why would it throw cods for the ambient temp sensor and does it need this to function before the hvac to function? Also i have codes for the right/left actuator door "SHORT TO GROUND" on both. Anyone know what this means as my actuator doors don't function and im just simply trying to get the heater to work. Does that mean the functions inside the head unit are maybe bad?
