i have a 2002 zo6 and I'm having a heating problem only when its hot out side and with the a/c is on.the temp runs at 200 with out a/c when i put the a/c on it takes a min then goes above 220 turn off a/c it takes a min then goes to 200 now on a cool day i can run the a/c and it stays at 200 anybody heard of this problem or have had this problem any help will be highly appreciated.
I see those temperatures regularly (same car). Pretty sure 200-220/30 is considered "normal operating temperature". I'm still more or less a corvette noob though so take that with a grain of salt. At least until someone else confirms. Ha
When A/C is ON, the car should have low speed fans going. Does it?
"When the A/C is on and the coolant temperature reaches 85°C (185°F), the low speed cooling fans will be turned on at vehicle speeds less than 56 kPh (35 mph)."
