HVAC blower fan
I feel like this is a ridiculous question but having taken the fan out of my Z and my coupe, it’s an annoying job I don’t want to do again. HOWEVER, I feel like the air flow out of the a/c vents is somewhat weak, tho the fan sounds like it’s doing a lot of work. MUST I remove it or are there indicators I can watch that will help me avoid this unpleasant task. My joints don’t bend like they used to.

Do the vents switch when you shift from defrost to floor to dash vents? If not then it is not the blower but the vacuum hose not allowing the vents to switch. When that happens it goes to neutral and blows air out of all vents and none of them blow very hard. I had to repair the vacuum hose.
