Default Fuel issues

Hey guys, my particular problem just arose and i havent seen a post with my specific issue which is strange to me. So here goes. So i took the 2002 coupe 6mt to texas this last weekend, about 300 miles one way. Ive had the sender issue and already planned to replace that but on the way down it stopped taking fuel at all. And its not the pump nozzle being too fast because ive tried everything to slow the rate of fuel and even at an absolute crawl it stops. So i removed the nozzle and and the fuel is coming actually draining into the tank extremely slowly. While the tank is empty, i can put about .60 cents in and have it turn off and watch the fuel drain from the neck into the tank, I havent seen any leaks whatsoever outside the vehicle but now as of today when i went to get in this morning it smells like gasoline very strongly inside and just outside the drivers door. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance!

There may be an issue with the EVAP vent valve stuck closed…you’ll usually see gas tank filling issues when it’s closed…it is normally open. See if you have any trouble codes stored accessing them through the DIC.
