Default Engine stalled when doing burnouts/drifts (automatic)

Hey guys!

Was at a car meet and had some fun with my C5, when I spun out doing a drift the car suddenly stalled and I got all types of TCS messages. Couldnt start the car straight away, removed the codes fast and car started up again all good. Was this the torque management hitting me so I don’t break anything?

I reset all codes fast so I could get out of the way for the others, but I did get ABS and traction control light. I am not even sure if it was the codes preventing me to start the car or whatever, but I was able to start it atleast straight after I cleared everything

There isn't a "kill the car because you're abusing it code" so without the codes it'd be hard to guess what happened.

I am just dumb, I probably rolled backwards a bit with the car in gear, causing the engine to stall, then when I was about to start it the first time I still had it in drive.

Rolling backwards probably happened and is what stalled the engine. Likely what happened is the engine stopped in a non-normal position so the crank sensor and such was out of sorts. IIRC the engine stops in one of 3 positions and yours likely wasn't in one of them and had to get reoriented. If the engine attempted to turn over when you tried to start it, you were not in drive.

You let off the gas and it stalled? It shouldn't stall if you're still on the gas even if you spin around and go backwards with the wheels spinning.
