Pulley malalignment
I have a 2001 LS1 and had drivetrain out to do a lot of work. During work, had front Power steering bracket off to work on motor. All reinstalled and started up and now have serpentine belts being thrown. With laser alignment it appears the power steering, alternator and idler pulley are sitting 1 groove forward of the crank, tensioner and waterpump. Crank pulley looks fine and aligns with tensioner and water pump. No bent or warped pulleys, new alternator. Seems like the bracket that holds these 3 pulleys is sitting forward even though bolted to engine and no provisions for adjustment. Thoughts anyone before I pull everything off again?
