Default 03 convertible electric problems on drivers door.

Just bought the car with 15000 mile been running great put 3500 miles on it and driver door control panel quite working, simultaneously I received a message on the dash active handling system needs service is this connected to my original problem or a fluke? I wiggled the rubber boot between the door edge and car edge (fire wall ) problem all cleared where do I start looking??

The active handling is likely an issue with your EBCM. It will depend on the year of your car if that can be fixed or not. The door control panel is likely a separate issue. You may get some better answers to this in the tech section.

The door lock / window issues might be due to the modules in the doors. The relays go bad and can be replaced. I had mine done about 4 years ago and no problems since. You can send them out for repair or try it yourself. I sent mine out, took about a week.

Check the electrical connectors in the door jamb behind the rubber accordion. The terminals get spread and lose and cause this exact problem.

If you look on the connector you will may see some contacts with more space then others . These could cause problems .
If some of you contacts looks like this try to bend/pry carefully with a small screwdriver or similar to close these gaps.
Everyone should look like upper left contact set.

What nobody has mentioned is that loose connections at the door jam could be causing a loss or corruption of the serial data. All modules on c5 corvettes communicate with each other over a single wire, your active handling message could be a result of this.
