Antenna swap

Auto antenna on my 98 vert was not working, decided to go with a stubby conversion kit

But I don't know where to splice the amplifier in, or if I even need to considering I only listen through my phone.

Pull back the carpet under the OEM antenna. The PINK wire is 12v power to the antenna, use that to power the amp.

Ah, good idea. Do you know that it is a 12v amp?(Are most amplifiers 12v) I guess that is another question I have, and the company has not answered my calls or emails.
