Default I need advice on my windshield wiper motor/pulse board

So today I tried to tackle an issue I've had with my corvette for a while. My windshield wipers only work on the high setting. After troubleshooting I figured it was just the pulse board in the wiper motor module. AutoZone had the PCB in stock for about $25 so I picked one up.

Upon disassembly of my whole cowl/windshield wiper assembly I found out there was a pretty big difference between the old and new PCB. Anyways while it was all apart I looked at the old PCB and saw that a capacitor was disconnected which I assume is the culprit for why my intermittent wipers don't work.

So now I'm wondering, is it worth soldering in a new capacitor or should I just look for a new pulse board. Or even further yet, a whole new motor unit? If you've replaced the motor, can you reply with the link to that you purchased?

Also thanks to AutoZone who accepted the return and gave me my money back. I've worked with other stores who have very bad return policy.

This is the old PCB. The circled capacitor is the bad one.

Here is the new PCB. As you can see, very different. Even the connector plug was way bigger and very different.
