2000 Corvette EBCM
I currently have a 2002 Corvette parts car and I just purchased a 2000 Corvette but 2000 has an EBCM problem and the 2002's is fine does anyone know if they are the same and I could just swap them out? I'd rather not pay a grand for a new one if I don't have to.

The 2002 will not 'plug and play' with your car. GM changed the EBCM on '01-'04 models. There's a sticky on how to wire the newer one into the older models. As for not wanting to "pay a grand for a new one", you couldn't pay 3 grand for a new one, even if you wanted to! New ones no longer exist, only used ones exist, and they're usually over a grand!!!! You can use the 02 ebcm in your car it requires rewiring it. This link explains the process
