What tool where is this tool ? So u don’t have to purge the system replacing the valve? I need it …
There a bunch of them on Amazon. It's called a R134a valve core removal tool. Virtually all are made in China, but I found one, designed, made, and assembled in U.S.A. It's labeled as "Mastercool." It's more expensive than the other stuff, but seems well-made. As usual, there are no instructions, but you can search around on YouTube and find a guy using this exact tool to remove and replace a leaking Shrader valve:
Anyway, I used it yesterday after watching that video and it did the job for me. I checked the pressure in my system this morning with my gauge set and there's no evidence of a leak.
