Battery voltage at terminals
This might be a dumb question, but since replacing my battery prematurely I have been trying to monitor voltage of the battery with Tender Hooked up and Tender off to make sure Tender is performing properly. Since it's an '03 it has side terminals, which I haven't been used to in decades. When I test the voltage at the terminal screws it tends to be about 0.20 - 0.35 volts lower than supposed to be. Float charge on Tender only shows 12.86 volts instead of 13.10 volts that same Tender shows on other batteries. The Tender does turn solid green. Different Tender has same results. With no Tender hooked up, battery rests around 12.52 volts. If I remove cables and just test battery it shows 12.75 volts. Hooking up Tender without cables shows correct 13.10 volts float charge. Is this normal or might there be an issue with cables/connection? Cleaned off any visible corrosion. Thanks.

Thanks. I was just concerned since I figured the voltage on the screw going through the terminal and into the battery should be the same as the naked terminals on the battery.
