I recently changed the AC compressor and after putter everything back together the care would not start. I tried all the basics and eventually
had to have an electician look at the care. He bypassed the BCM and allowed the car to start independently from the BCM. Unfortunately,
after he left I discovered problems with the power windows and the headlights would not turn off. In addition, the car in running really poorly.
The acceleration if flat. It is supercharged with an AA Centi.
What do you think?
Was it a “no crank no start” or a cranking no start” ??…what was bypassed ??…the TDR relay ??…if you did the compressor R&R I’d see that everything that may have been disconnected was reconnected…also you want to see what codes you have stored…this is the first step in diagnosing…this may give you some direction !!…also a good idea to include the model year in your profile.

Thank you, I just updated my profile to a 98 C5. It was a no crank, no start. I got the pull key message so I did the fuse box mod. It still wouldn't start. I'm not exactly sure what
the Mechanic did, however he explained it that he bypassed the BCM and made it so the car started with the key engaged. I later realized the windows where rolling up and down
with no key in the ignition and the lights will not turn off. The only code I am getting is P0103 H C which is the MAF. I believe mine is gone because I am supercharged and have a
Map III tune,
I’d find out what mechanic did and like I had said you’d have to put a scan tool on the car to look at codes and by looking at live data you may have some direction on why it’s running poorly…there are many things that can cause your driveability issues !!…don’t know what else to tell you !!
