This is more of a "Hello" section. I would suggest placing your need for an EBCM in the C5 Parts for Sale/Wanted section, and ask the question about removing the skid icon in the C5 General section. Both are in: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1997-2004-2/. You find lots of great members and helpful info there that may be of benefit as you continue to enjoy your C5.

That light can be caused by many things without it being a bad EBCM. It talks to sensors on the vehicle. If one of those sensors is having a reading problem then it will illuminate that light. For instance, It can be the sensor or a wiring issue. The C5 can show the codes that are stored in the vehicle. The first thing you should do is post the codes you find on here so people can help you diagnose the problem. The section for the EBCM is under TCS in the menu. I will add a video below to show you how to do that.
