I went with Michelin PS2's in 255/40-17 and 295/35-1828. I can't tell the difference between the 265 and 255. 275 seams too big. I just came back from a ride in the mountains all is good.

Reason: added pictures
I run Continental DWS06 tires. I prefer the feel of the 255 series vs the 275 up front. It is more precise. The same may not hold as true for other brands due to side wall construction but was a significant difference in the Continentals.
When I first got my car the previous owner had 255/40 front and 285/35 rear tires on the factory wheels. I got rid of them in favor of a square setup for track/street but they looked good and felt great!
Agree with 3sACROWD , they do feel more precise, better turn in. My old tires were 7 YO and hard. Didn't take much to spin them. Went for a ride in the mountains on Sat and the car felt great. Hope this pic is what your looking for.
