Default Car in Limp mode

I recently installed my LCM5 which solved the "Service Steering Column" then I had the "Pull key for 10 seconds" message. I talked to a local Corvette shop in Chicago who told me to disconnect both battery terminals for 10 seconds and hold them together and that should take my car out of "Limp mode" I did as he suggested but my car still only goes as fast 20-30mph. Has anyone had this issue ? I'm trying to troubleshoot before paying a mechanic big dollars for a easy fix.

First I’d check to see if you have any codes present…you can check for them through the DIC…it may give you some direction…a lot of these issues are caused by either the throttle body, TPS sensor, APP sensor or TAC module or the wiring in these systems…has any recent maintenance other than the LMC5 install been performed on the car ???

No other maintenance other than the LCM5. I'll try again tomorrow disconnecting both battery terminals if that doesn't work I might have it towed to a local Specialist.... Getting frustrated

Like I had said start the car and before shutting it off check for codes…if you need a good diagnostician I can recommend someone in your area…he’s one of the foremost automotive instructors and diagnosticians in the country…also doubting a “cap discharge” will fix your problem.

I checked and I have no PCM codes, my BCM codes where reset after installing LCM5. I also talked to guys at Compliance who walked me thru my Code pulling. I'm down but I'm not out
