i have bought a blackwing and power duct but now seeing that the 01 up cars are different, and guess what year mine is....01..aghh
does anyone know why they wont fit?..larger size, different shape????
can the older style be modified to fit an 01??
by replacing both pieces, will that make a difference...if it wont i guess ill have a couple items for sale cheap

The MAF on the '01's-up is larger and requires the use of a bigger silicone coupler that should have come with the kit. I bought my BW at the beginning of this year and it came with couplers for both setups. You should contact the vendor and ask them to send you the larger coupler and you'll be all set.
